The construction industry is evolving, and women are helping lead the change. At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, that energy comes to life through education, engagement and a growing presence across the show. Here’s a look at where that momentum comes to life at this year’s show.

EMPOWERHER: WHERE LEADERSHIP TAKES THE STAGE 

The EmpowerHER Workshop is a two-day program designed to inspire, educate and connect women leading the industry forward. The March 6-7 workshop includes peer-led panels, motivational keynotes, networking sessions and interactive discussions that address the unique opportunities and challenges facing women in construction.

National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC)  

Since 1953, NAWIC’s mission has been to champion the success of women in construction through education, networking, mentorship, advocacy and community engagement. Visit the NAWIC booth (Grand Lobby — GL12592) to see how the association supports women’s growth in the industry. 

Women of Asphalt  

Women of Asphalt (WofA) is a national coalition dedicated to championing women across all roles within the asphalt industry. Stop by their booth (Grand Lobby — GL12598) to see how WofA fulfills its mission to empower women through mentorship, education and networking. The group will also be hosting an exclusive mixer for women in the asphalt industry.

WHERE CONNECTION HAPPENS 

New Interactive Space: A new dedicated space in the West Hall gives women a place to have leadership conversations with peers. Stop by to discuss career planning, shared challenges, successes and more.  This space is designed for honest dialogue about your professional growth with other women in the industry. 

Voices Shaping the Future: Hear from the women behind the podcast, Women Talk Construction – Christi Powell and Angela Garnder – at NPK Construction Equipment Inc’s booth (Central Hall — C20338) and other spots across the show floor. Stop by to share stories and listen to women voices shaping the industry’s future. The podcast is powered by @access_npk. 

Driving Change Beyond the Jobsite: Over the past year Pink-Belt Excavators has traveled to dealers across the country to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer support and research. The journey will culminate March 5 at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, where Pink-Belt will be auctioned, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation and CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundation’s Yes, Mamm! program. The auction will be held 11 AM – 12 PM at Festival Grounds — F35043
