When most people think about CONEXPO-CON/AGG, they think big. Big equipment. Big crowds. Big business opportunities.

And they're right.

In 2026, CONEXPO-CON/AGG brought together more than 140,000 registered attendees and exhibitors, 2,000+ exhibiting companies, and over 3 million square feet of exhibit space, reinforcing its position as North America's largest construction trade show.

But the size of the show only tells part of the story.

That's why we created the 2026 Show Report & Results: to provide a deeper look at the people, programs, and experiences that made the show successful and to help current and prospective exhibitors understand the full value of participating in CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

MORE THAN THE EXHIBIT FLOOR

Exhibiting at CONEXPO-CON/AGG is about more than putting equipment in front of buyers.

The show serves as a gathering place for the entire construction industry, bringing together decision-makers, contractors, business owners, fleet managers, distributors, technology leaders, and industry influencers in one place. The 2026 report highlights how attendees engaged with the show through exhibit halls, networking opportunities, educational programming, keynote presentations, workshops, and industry discussions.

Those interactions create opportunities for attendees to discover new technologies, build professional relationships, and exchange ideas with peers across the industry. For exhibitors, they also provide valuable opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and connect with new audiences.

A BIGGER STAGE FOR LEARNING AND LEADERSHIP

Education played a significant role in the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 experience, with more than 160 educational opportunities and 8,500+ participants attending sessions designed to help construction professionals stay ahead of industry trends.

As part of the show's overall content strategy, learning was offered in a variety of formats including breakout sessions, workshops, live podcast recordings, and the debut of the Ground Breakers Stage.

The Ground Breakers Stage introduced a dynamic new platform for industry conversations, featuring recognized voices such as Mike Rowe alongside leading construction professionals. Sessions explored workforce development, innovation, technology adoption, and other issues impacting contractors and equipment owners today.

Recorded sessions from the Ground Breakers Stage continue to attract audiences, with more than 8,000 on-demand views, giving attendees and exhibitors ongoing access to the insights shared at the event.

By pairing world-class education with hands-on exhibits, CONEXPO-CON/AGG creates an environment where learning naturally leads to discovery, giving attendees more reasons to explore the show floor and engage with exhibiting companies.

MEASURING SUCCESS

The report also captures what attendees and exhibitors had to say about their experience.

Attendee satisfaction remained exceptionally strong, with 98% rating the value of CONEXPO-CON/AGG as good to excellent. Exhibitor satisfaction reached its highest score on record, while 92% of exhibitors indicated they plan to exhibit again in 2029.

Those results reflect more than attendance numbers. They demonstrate the continued value exhibitors find in connecting with a highly qualified audience and participating in an event that remains one of the industry's most important business and networking platforms.
