Las Vegas, NV (May 19, 2026)  — CONEXPO‑CON/AGG is proud to celebrate three of its 2026 exhibitors for their generous donations  to support mental health awareness for the construction industry.

International Construction Equipment Inc., The Hose Company, and Shell Lubricant Solutions each contributed $1,000 in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as part of the Hard Hat Courage Initiative, which focuses on addressing mental health challenges within the construction and equipment manufacturing industries.

“We’re proud to support the Hard Hat Courage Initiative because it addresses an issue that’s too often overlooked in our industry — mental health and the well-being of the people behind the work,” said Pollyanna Cunningham, vice president of International Construction Equipment Inc. and The Hose Company. “Construction and equipment manufacturing are both built on strength, resilience and teamwork, and this initiative helps ensure those values extend beyond the jobsite. By both ICE and THC contributing, we hope to raise awareness, reduce stigma and encourage more open conversations across the industry. Supporting this effort reflects our commitment not just to building infrastructure, but to supporting the individuals and communities that make that work possible.”

These exhibitor donations are part of a successful partnership between CONEXPO‑CON/AGG 2026 and AFSP, which raised more than $112,000 to support suicide prevention and mental health awareness initiatives.

“The construction industry is built by people, and supporting their mental health is essential to building a strong, sustainable workforce,” said CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show Director Dana Wuesthoff. “We’re proud to see exhibitors like International Construction Equipment Inc., The Hose Company and Shell Lubricant Solutions step forward to support the Hard Hat Courage Initiative and AFSP. Their leadership helps spark meaningful conversations, reduce stigma and reinforce that mental health matters at every level of our industry.”

Throughout CONEXPO-CON/AGG, the Hard Hat Courage Initiative highlighted the importance of mental health and wellness through educational programming, onsite engagement and a dedicated wellness lounge for attendees.

Attendees also engaged directly with AFSP through a dedicated booth on the show floor, where representatives shared information on suicide prevention programs, industry resources and ways companies can support mental health initiatives within their organizations. The wellness lounge provided a quiet space for attendees to step away from the busy show floor, recharge and access information about mental health resources available to the construction community.

Funds raised support AFSP’s mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide through research, education, advocacy and support for those impacted by suicide.

Donations are still being accepted here.

Held every three years in Las Vegas, CONEXPO‑CON/AGG is North America’s largest construction trade show, bringing together contractors, equipment manufacturers and industry leaders to explore the latest technologies, innovations and solutions shaping the future of construction. The next CONEXPO‑CON/AGG will be held March 13‑17, 2029, in Las Vegas.
