Market Drivers for HVAC Chillers

HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) chillers help in cooling commercial establishments. They use either a vapor compression or absorption cycle. Absorption, reciprocating, screw, scroll, and centrifugal are the different types of chillers.

Vapor-compressor chillers use hydrochlorofluorocarbons or chlorofluorocarbons as refrigerants, which is sent from a compressor to a condenser unit. This transfer allows the gas to condense into a liquid, which is then sent to a metering device. The warm gas is then sent back to the compressor to start the process over again, while the chilled water is used for cooling.

A current market driver, according to ReportsnReports, is the developing infrastructure in emerging countries. There is also the market trend of the growing number of data centers. With more data centers there will be more need for HVAC chillers.

One market challenge is environmental regulations and guidelines. Keeping emissions low is a struggle that is being worked on. The HVAC chillers market will transform how projects are done in the future
