Exhibitor Services Manual to Launch

Look for an email with a link to the Exhibitor Services Manual in the coming weeks. The manual will provide you with all of the necessary information, forms and deadline dates to prepare for your company’s successful participation in the show.

Target Date Information

All exhibitors will receive a target installation date from GES, the official service contractor in June. You will receive two separate target dates – an unload date and a set-up date. Labor should not be ordered on the unload target date.  All labor should be scheduled on the set-up target date. Any exhibitor wishing to change their scheduled installation date must submit their request in writing to the GES Freight Department. Additional information will be available in the Exhibitor Services Manual.

Official Service Vendors, Convention Center and International Information

Official Service Vendors CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE Show Management have negotiated agreements with a select group of companies who are responsible for providing services needed for installation, day-to-day operations and dismantling of exhibits. Order forms and descriptions of their services and rates can be found in the Exhibitor Services.

Convention Center Information – Do you need information on ceiling heights, floor loads, etc.? Information about the Las Vegas Convention Center and surrounding parking lots is located on the show website in the Show Preparation tab.

International Exhibitors Exhibiting in a show is a very detailed process and is compounded when planning a show in another country. Our website will provide you with some helpful hints to assist with show planning.

Admission Badge Pricing for 2017

In structuring the 2017 badge fees, the Show Management Committee requested that AEM retain the services of a pricing analyst to research and recommend the registration fee structure. Over time, our badge fee increases have not kept up with inflation. The results of the pricing analysis concluded that our admission fee was underpriced in comparison to other leading shows and to the value the show provides.

While the show admission fees will increase, the Management Committee directed us to minimize the cost increase to exhibitors. Below you will see that the fee increase for exhibitors is substantially less than for the general attendee. In addition, exhibitors will be able to extend invitations to their customers and dealers at a substantial discount.

Admission + Transportation = Additional Value

As added value, the admission fee in 2017 will include not only the show badge but also multi-modal transportation to and from the show for both exhibitors and attendees. The admission fee will include not only deluxe coach bus transportation at most official hotels but also a multi-day Monorail pass at no additional charge. AEM will be looking into additional transportation values in Las Vegas, and we will keep you posted on additional developments.
