Beware of Unauthorized Hotel Solicitations

Experient is the only official housing company associated with our event. While other hotel resellers may try to solicit housing for your trip, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with the show. Beware that entering into financial agreements with non-endorsed companies can have costly consequences. They may provide false information regarding the availability of rooms at hotels within the show housing program. If you are contacted by a travel company other than Experient, please immediately notify Show Management at aweller@aem.org. Show Management works to prevent the unauthorized solicitation of CONEXPO-CON/AGG & IFPE 2017 exhibitors and attendees.

New Survey Feature

A new survey service from AEM is designed to help exhibiting members better understand the equipment needs and purchasing patterns of end-user customers. AEM will unleash its extensive database of 250,000 trade show attendees to develop custom surveys for members on request. The new offering is part of a spectrum of market data products available from AEM.

From this database, we can develop targeted surveys that will better prepare members to discuss business with customers when they reach the show floor. For more information, please contact Benjamin Duyck, AEM Director, Market Intelligence (bduyck@aem.org, tel: 414-298-4154).

Key Show Management Personnel

Do you have a question on your company’s show planning? Here is a list of show staff that can answer all of your questions.

Admission Badge Pricing for 2017

In structuring the 2017 badge fees, the Show Management Committee requested that AEM retain the services of a pricing analyst to research and recommend the registration fee structure. Over time, our badge fee increases have not kept up with inflation. The results of the pricing analysis concluded that our admission fee was underpriced in comparison to other leading shows and to the value the show provides.

While the show admission fees will increase, the Management Committee directed us to minimize the cost increase to exhibitors. Below you will see that the fee increase for exhibitors is substantially less than for the general attendee. In addition, exhibitors will be able to extend invitations to their customers and dealers at a substantial discount.

Admission + Transportation = Additional Value

As added value, the admission fee in 2017 will include not only the show badge but also multi-modal transportation to and from the show for both exhibitors and attendees. The admission fee will include not only deluxe coach bus transportation at most official hotels but also a multi-day Monorail pass at no additional charge. AEM will be looking into additional transportation values in Las Vegas, and we will keep you posted on additional developments.
