America's construction industry is growing rapidly, and with this growth, the construction industry has many tremendous job opportunities. I have always liked the construction industry, and I believe that by becoming a mechanical engineer, I can help contribute to the construction field. The construction industry offers many rewarding aspects for a job such as good pay and advancement, being able to create a better and more efficient world, and being able to see an idea become a reality.

The construction industry has many job opportunities, room for advancement, and good paying jobs. All three of these characteristics of the construction industry are very appealing to me, and should be appealing to anyone looking to find not just a job, but a career. The construction industry is growing at such a rapid pace, that the whole industry is at a lack of employees, which makes it easier to find jobs. Most high level jobs require several years of experience before your job application will even be looked at. This is why room for advancement is important in a field of work when starting a career. Costs of materials and services are continually rising, and it is important to have a good paying job so a person can support their family. The construction industry is the perfect industry to find vast job opportunities, room for advancement, and good pay.

The construction industry is always in need of new innovative equipment to perform different tasks. As a mechanical engineer I know that I can help design and build new and more efficient construction machines. These machines will help ease the construction field of the growing needs of our aging infrastructure, as well as help the construction industry build better roads, bridges, pipelines, and other vital parts of our nation's infrastructure. However, building new construction machinery is not all I plan to improve within the construction industry as a mechanical engineer. I am also planning to work closely with civil engineers in the construction industry to produce new materials that are stronger and longer lasting with less maintenance. The construction industry spends millions of dollars per year in maintaining our infrastructure, and this cost could be greatly reduced by new materials that require less maintenance.

In my opinion, the construction industry also offers one of the most rewarding aspects of a job and that is being able to see your idea become a reality. I can not imagine how rewarding it must feel to design a piece of machinery or a new material, and be able to think of how it has helped the construction industry. The transition from an idea to a reality also uses a person's teamwork and communication skills to be able to communicate with the designers, builders, sellers, and all the people that have a part in the creation of the idea. This feeling of accomplishment is worth much more than any paycheck.

The construction industry is truly the best field to work in. The construction industry offers tremendous job opportunities as well as advancement opportunities, good salaries, a chance to help build a more efficient America, and also a sense of true accomplishment from seeing an idea become a reality. I hope that in my future career as a mechanical engineer that I will be able to take full advantage of everything the construction industry has to offer, and that I may contribute many ideas and invention that will help provide for a more efficient America.
